Melanoma Country

Heard a poem this morning on the radio – great.

What is this sunburnt country
Of smoke and threatening flames
Of blackened mountain ranges
Of dust and absent rains?

This land that once was beautiful
That nourished heart and head
Now keeps us up at night with thoughts
Of hopelessness and dread.

Little yellow car

Call this one done. Fairly late on I decided to for yellow instead of red – I think it gives a nice contrast with the black interior and chrome wheels. I wouldn’t mind a real one to drive around in, come to think of it. Not real practical but hey 😀
